Ocean City, MD

We arrived at Ocean City, MD and the girls immediately fell in love with the pool at Francis Scott Key Resort. They would have stayed forever, especially Ella.
Buckled in on the beach bus
Walking down to the beach off of the boardwalk
Beach time! The waves were really intense that day so Ava didn't go in much. Bob and Ella got toppled once, but that didn't stop them. We even got to see dolphins jumping and swimming off shore.
Ava was just as happy building sandcastles.
 What an awesome day:)
After we had our fill of sandcastles and swimming, we headed to the boardwalk and sampled some ice cream and Fractured Prune donuts...yummmmm!! Daddy is sporting the windblown look here:)
We even got Daddy on a Ferris wheel!!!

While we were waiting for our bus back to the hotel, a moth landed on Ella and stayed forever. She thought it was the coolest thing and even told the bus driver about it when she arrived.
 Posing at the resort
The girls said that their favorite thing at the resort was the pirate ship. There were slides and water all over the place to play with, and Mommy and Daddy could actually sit and watch because it was just for kids:)
 Snuggling:)
We ate at the Rte. 50 Diner right at the hotel. The girls loved watching TV while we ate. Lots of old cartoons, like Tom and Jerry and the Little Rascals
Rocking chairs on the front steps of the resort
We went to Assateague Beach State Park the next day and found the perfect spot. The water was this deep forever and the girls just explored and explored.
Ava collecting sea shells, which we found a ton of!
We got to see some jellyfish up close too!
 Mommy and Ella
The arcade at the hotel
Each day the housekeeper made a new animal with the towels, which the girls absolutely loved. We had a blast and can't wait to go back to the ocean again:)
