Moments after birth

This picture was taken probably about half an hour after her birth. Carrie labored for about 15 hours and was not about to make an appearance in the photos just yet. Ella was born weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. We were all in love immediately:)

Everyone was amazed at how much Ella looked like Bob, right down to her fingers and toes. She does seem to have her mommy's dark hair though. Her eyes are blue now, but we think they're starting to turn either brown or hazel.

Grandpa and Grandma Parish came to the hospital to cheer Carrie on and wasted no time scooping her up and gushing.

Grandma Neenie was also there for support and stole as many cuddles as she could from her new granddaughter.

Aunt Cassi, Ella's godmother came with Grandma Neenie to provide some comic relief to Carrie and to meet her new niece for the first time.
